Our Story

Dailyn's version of our story:
 

In 2013 Casen and I were "matched" by a mutual friend in highschool. From what I remember, his pickup line was pretty strong in the first text so he held my attention :) We started texting and talking on the phone everyday, then I "accidently" met him in person walking through the hallway to my volleyball game. Our first face to face interaction was short and sweet but definitely caught me off guard. I was a little nervous so it helped that he had a good sense of humor to lighten the moment. Long story short, if your friends want to match make you with someone it could be your future husband so let them! 
 

Having Casen as a partner has made life more fun, lighthearted, and easy-going. He never fails to keep a smile on my face and turn simple moments/acts into the most memorable and special experiences. Casen's dedication to the ones he loves is unmatched and I'm forever grateful and BLESSED to have a man like him by my side. Thank you for always going with the flow for my crazy ideas and loving me for who I am. I can't wait until we say our I DOs with our closet family and friends. I love you!

I would argue that Dailyn definitely made the first move on me but I'll let her have that one for now. I saw her for the first time walking down the hallway lookin all cute in her pink volleyball shirt. She was acting shy at first but I eased her nerves and got her laughing. After more hallway meetups and all-nighter phone calls our connection and my feelings for her grew stronger and I knew I had to make this special lady my girl.

 

I love that Dailyn is driven, creative, and values her relationships with friends and family. Oh and she throws down in the kitchen. She makes me want to be the best version of myself, whether it's at the gym, cooking, and work life. Grateful to have the woman I consider my soulmate apart of this next chapter in marriage, cheers to more memories and lifetime with you.

Now years later, Casen and Dailyn are so thankful they always stayed in touch. With time continuing forming a deep connection through fun date nights, traveling, and of course dining at the latest greatest restaurants.​ In September of 2022, during a trip back home visiting Huntsville the two went to a wine festival. Casen led Dailyn to what she thought was "just dinner." To her surprise she was greeted by family and close friends at a beautiful proposal site. Needless to say, she said YES!
